2022 Anzac Day Commemoration in Phnom Penh

INTERNATIONAL: Australians commemorate Anzac Day on 25 April every year. This is the anniversary of Australian and New Zealand soldiers landing at Gallipoli during World War I.

The easing of COVID-19 restrictions allows us to commemorate the Dawn Service in person this year. It will be held on Monday, 25 April at the Australian Embassy, #16B National Assembly Street, Phnom Penh. We will also be honored to have Lieutenant General John Sanderson AC, former Australian Commander of the military component of the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC), to give the ANZAC Address.

Service Commences Promptly at 05:15 am.

Entry from 04:30 am.

This service is open to all members of the general public; in particular, Australian and New Zealand citizens and their partners are invited to attend.

Photo ID is required for entry and normal Embassy security and COVID procedures will apply.

* For the comfort of all our guests, due to COVID considerations and in anticipation of large numbers a breakfast will not be served this year. The Service is subject to change depending on COVID restrictions at the time.
